“Over many years I have explored the boundaries between art and craft, art and function.
Honing my skills in a variety of mediums,  working  in clay and wood, and on cloth & paper.”

 

With a strong background in dance and movement, and supplemented with drawing from life the work is on a human scale and sits comfortably in home and garden, quietly controversial and revealing itself slowly over time.

 

 

This is artwork that is intended to be used and lived with on a daily basis. Tessa draws inspiration from the natural world, informed by the energy that underpins substance and life. Each piece is part of a complex and chaotic pattern of existence.
